Why do cell-phone reps remove SIM Cards out of the box and keep them?
Anybody know why Cell Phone representatives (@T-Mobile) remove the SIM card from the box when you upgrade your cell phone? If the SIM card is inside the box of an item you just bought, what gives them the right to remove it? I asked the sales gal but she told me it had to be inventoried back in the store…huh? How is this? The Manufacturer included it in the box along with the rest of the cell phone accessories. What are they going to do next, sell you everything individually out of the box???
I feel cheated????

if you are just upgrading your phone, you don’t need a new sim card. you just move your old one to the new phone. if you, however, lost your old phone and bought a new phone, they will leave the sim card in the box.
